Anglo American Platinum had an innovative, die cut Bottle Hang produced to generate awareness around World Aids Day on the 1st of December.
PocketMedia® Solutions custom made the Z-CARD® Bottle Hang for the Anglo American Platinum Wellness Programme, with both front and back covers die cut in the shape of a hand, and the back cover containing a board pouch which houses a condom.
The Bottle Hang Z-CARD®s have been placed around the neck of a Galito’s chilli sauce bottle. These were handed out by Anglo American Platinum’s employees at its operations which hosted World Aids Day celebrations.
“Employees will be instantly made aware that the Z-CARD® contains important information about HIV and Aids, as the front cover urges them to ‘Know Your Status’,” says Grace Marx, Anglo American Platinum’s Customer Relations Officer.
The main objective of the card is to communicate the importance of being tested for HIV. It provides helpful information on the right choices and actions to take, whether HIV positive or negative.
To increase the retainability aspect, the card also contains a fixture guide for the African Cup of Nations as well as a guide to the health benefits of chillies.
“We are hoping that the die cut hand shape of the Z-CARD® as well as the African Cup of Nations match schedule will encourage our employees to keep the card for a longer period and be able to refer to the information on how to live their lives with/without HIV/Aids. The condom is obviously a nice add on to encourage safe sex,” says Marx.
“We were looking for an all-in-one solution to capture employees’ attention and make a difference. PocketMedia® Solutions produced exactly what we needed to do just this,” she adds.Click here for more information on PocketMedia Solutions
