On the 1st August, Cadbury launched the Join the Joy Ride competition, where consumers could stand a chance of winning their very own customised Jeep Wrangler.
Thandi Ksanyile was announced earlier this month as the lucky winner of this amazing prize and will soon be the envy of all her friends!
Thandi, who resides in Durban is a huge fan of Cadbury chocolates.
"I could not believe my luck when I received the call!” said Thandi. “I screamed so loudly in shock and couldn’t wait to tell my friends and family!”
As part of the prize, Thandi gets to pimp her ride and make it stand out when she is cruising along Durban’s beachfront. Thandi explained that she would love to customise the Jeep by getting it sprayed purple and putting rims on the tyres to make it extra special.
What made this competition even more unique was that Thandi will also receive insurance cover on the Jeep to the value of R15 000, as well as petrol to the value of R30 000!
The Cadbury Join the Joy Ride competition was also supported by the Cadbury Wrapper Flapper activation, which travelled around South Africa giving consumers a chance to win instant cash and airtime.
“Cadbury loves giving back to our fans and couldn’t be happier that we made Thandi’s whole year by surprising her with her very own Jeep Wrangler,” says Grant van Niekerk, Mondelez SA Category Director for Chocolate. “We can’t wait to see the final Jeep and how Thandi customises it to make it truly unique.”
"I want to thank Cadbury again for this amazing prize and will keep showing the brand that I am their number one fan,” concludes Ksanyile.
