The Allesverloren wine estate outside Riebeek West, is hosting an elaborate buffet on Christmas Day. Nestled among vineyards on the slopes of the Kasteelberg, the serene surrounds of the estate’s function and conference venue makes it the perfect place for sharing the occasion with family and friends.

The speciality menu offers a range of breads, pâtés, cold meats and salads as starters. The choice of main courses include generous portions of traditional and foreign dishes such as South African roast beef and chicken hotpot, Moroccan couscous with lamb and vegetables, German deboned pork rib with apple sauce, Italian pasta with Puttanesca sauce as well as British steak and kidney pie. For those brave enough to approach the dessert table, a range of hot and cold puddings await.

Lunch on Sunday, December 25, starts at 11:30. The price is R180 for adults and R90 for children under the age of 12. A cash bar will be available. Booking is essential.
