Delightful new Rhodes Pineapple Trio Launched

Just right as a pizza topping or for a quick-snack “moment” – Rhodes’ newest launch makes up a delightful pantry threesome. New on the shelves this season are the 227g cans of Rhodes Pineapple Crush in Light Syrup; Pineapple Pieces in Light Syrup, and Rhodes Pineapple Rings in Light Syrup.
About half the size of the regular 440g cans, the products are also the first of Rhodes’ canned fruits that are available in light syrup.
As a measure of Rhodes’ Quality offering, the threesome is also of:
• Choice Grade
• Kosher certified
• Halaal certified
The pineapple crush and the pieces will be available immediately with an “Easy-Open” lid, with the rings to follow suit in the next months.
Other canned pineapple products from Rhodes include crushed, pieces and rings in 440g cans; the pieces and rings in 825g cans; and the pieces and rings in the 3,06Kg catering can.
Rhodes’ Fruit-to-Go range includes a 113g plastic cup of pineapple in light syrup.
Canned at Swazican, Rhodes’ canning operation in the Malkerns Valley in Swaziland, the pineapples are grown in Rhodes’ plantations in the country. Established in 1954, Swazican is the leading producer of processed pineapple and citrus products. As all Rhodes’ operations, the plant maintains high food safety standards with annual HACCP and BRC certifications in place.

Developed to satisfy consumer demand, the new Butter Beans in Curry Sauce is available in a regular 410g can. It carries the “Choice Grade”, Kosher and Halaal marks, and as all Rhodes products, is set to become a pantry staple.
