The hugely entertaining and dazzling Andriette Norman will be performing live at Durbanville Hills Wines on Friday, 9 March, in aid of the Môresterretjie Crèche, a day-care centre established for the children of neighbouring farms.
Known for her feel-good music, Andriette was one of the top three idols of 2007 and has sparked considerable interest throughout the country with her three albums and substantial fan-base.
It’s not only Andriette’s music that will leave you feeling good. Proceeds from the evening’s ticket sales will greatly assist in funding the crèche where trained teachers take care of the well-being and early-learning development of children, aged between two and five.
The social investment arm of Durbanville Hills, the Durbanville Hills Workers’ Trust, is actively involved in raising funds for community projects aimed at improving the quality of life of employees, their families and that of the surrounding community. Together with community members they have opened the crèche on the Morgenster farm, one of the nine member farms involved in the Durbanville Hills winemaking venture. In recognition of their efforts they stepped out as the international winner of the Ethical Award category in the 2011 The Drinks Business Green Awards.
