Maple and Pumpkin Brûlée Tart

Try this delicious recipe.


800 grams pumpkin cubes
150 grams flour
8 ml PnP cinnamon
1 pinch PnP nutmeg
30 ml brandy, (optional)
3 medium PnP eggs, beaten
180 ml PnP cream
180 ml maple syrup


Steam pumpkin cubes, blitz until smooth and cool.
Add flour, cinnamon, a pinch nutmeg, brandy (optional), beaten eggs, cream and maple syrup.
Spoon batter into a 25cm oven dish and bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for 40-45 minutes. Cool.
Just before serving, sprinkle a thin layer of castor sugar on top of tart.
Caramelise with a chef’s blowtorch or grill on high in the oven until a caramel crust forms.
Serve with whipped cream and chopped nuts.
