Nederburg's story is in the details
Issued by August Collective on behalf of Nederburg - Feb 28th 2017, 14:07
Nederburg is bringing the narrative of its history and heritage to consumers through a creative, interactive promotional campaign that launches in participating restaurants in South Africa in early March.
Highlighting three premium wines from Nederburg’s The Winemasters collection, named to honour the winery’s long-established tradition of winemaking excellence, the campaign features the latest vintages of its Sauvignon Blanc, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. These are classically styled, food-friendly wines with refreshing fruit flavours, elegance and finesse.
The campaign, devised to intrigue, engage, and reward consumers for their curiosity, plays out in the form of a printed map of the Nederburg wine farm in Paarl. The map displays key milestones in Nederburg’s history via illustrations and snippets of information, cleverly disguised to encourage consumers to use a supplied magnifying glass to search for and find the hidden messages. Upon finding these, consumers may ask their waitron for a reward.

Warm up this winter while the sun's away with Place in the Sun Merlot. Its bright fresh berry tastes with a hint of oak respond deliciously to some traditional Glühwein spicing. Heart-warming to drink, the wine offers the added bonus of doing good for others.
While rugby gees at the stadium or pub is always exciting, sometimes the winter cold makes us want to curl up and stay indoors! Drostdy Hof invites you to make the most of the moment in your own home when South Africa takes on Ireland this June 11.
Fairtrade-accredited Place in the Sun wines are kind to the earth and to the people who harvest the grapes. To earn the certification, grapes have to be cultivated according to eco-friendly principles. Place in the Sun also pays a premium for the fruit. The money is used to support health, nutritional, educational and recreational projects decided on by the farm workers involved.
Red meat and red wine is a classic pairing for a reason! The tannins in reds bond with and soften the protein of the meat, bringing out its savoury flavours and juiciness.

In the business world, a strategy is only as good as the team responsible for implementing it. All too often a strategy is presented with great fanfare, yet a few months down the line it will not have been activated as set out in the original plan. The first step in finding out what went wrong is to look at the variables at play before the strategy was revealed.
