Peach and Basil Sangria

Bursting with flavour and colour.

Ingredients

45 ml PnP white sugar
60 ml juice and grated zest of 1 lemon
1 handful PnP fresh basil leaves
750 ml PnP dry white wine
3 peaches, sliced
500 ml apple juice, or peach juice
250 grams PnP strawberries halved
500 ml sparkling water, to top up with

Method

Muddle together sugar, lemon juice, zest and basil in a jug, until basil is bruised and sugar has dissolved.
Add wine, peaches and juice and leave to infuse for a couple of hours.
Just before serving, add strawberries and ice.
Top up with chilled sparkling water.
