FUTURELIFE® manufactures from their New Germany facility in KZN, a range of smart food and drink products including the following brands: Crunch Smart Food™, Smart Bread™, Smart Drink™, Smart Fibre™, Smart Food™, Smart Oats®™ and a FUTURELIFE® range of SmartBars.
Reporting to the Managing Director, the General Manager will drive business and brand growth strategies and new business development through the leadership of the Managers responsible for marketing, sales, finance and manufacturing, ensuring the effective use of the technical, manufacturing and distribution strengths of the business. Align budgets with best practice and maximise profitability. The people agenda will see you lead others to achieve results and develop high performance teams.
Analytical by nature, you get into the underlying data, you think on your feet and can demonstrate reliable, independent leadership. Self-motivated and passionate to succeed, you work well under pressure and have great time management. You need a relevant degree coupled with at least 8-10 years general management experience gained within the FMCG (food, beverages) industry – you have worked with brands! Your skills set is further complimented by a dynamic personality and a fast-track mind!
