Our JSE Listed FMCG Food and Beverage client seeks a senior specialist manager to form part of their EXCO. Acting as a chief advisor, it requires that you partner with the Managing Executive of one of the most strategic business units within this FMCG group in the analysis of financial performance against standards and targets as well as the analysis of cost drivers. Working closely with the Finance Executive, General Managers, Finance Managers, Corporate Finance and Tax, you will add value through forecast and comment on corporate finance, expenses, volumes and trends, market manoeuvres, innovation, route to market, sales strategies and more.
Whether you are considering international or locally procured pricing, or the cost of fleet management, or expansion / consolidation of facilities your ability to interpret data and submit useful information will add value at the highest possible level of decision making. Whilst providing input into the assessment and preparation of business cases and continuous improvement initiatives, you will also prepare business case proposals for capital investment requests and prepare a model to track and report all strategic initiatives.
The position calls for a relevant degree such as Business Science, CIMA or CA (SA) with extraordinary commercial finance experience, ideally gained within the FMCG industry. Knowledge of SAP BI, Business Warehouse, Tableau Visualisation systems would be ideal whilst exposure to a Google Suite & Google Drive environment would be advantageous. Your experience will currently be within in a commercial/strategic support role.
