Hot on the heels of the opening of the Kit Kat group’s 16th Express store in Hammanskraal earlier this year, Tembisa welcomes the group’s 17th Kit Kat Express store.
Now local Tembisa residents can easily access the customer service and value for money for which the Kit Kat group has become renowned. The new store is located on the corner of Olifantsfontein & Algeria Road in Tembisa and is open Monday to Friday from 08h00 to 18h00, Saturday from 08h00 to 15h00 and on Sundays from 08h00 to 13h00.
Marking the importance of the opening, the Gauteng MEC of Education, Mr. Panyaza Lesufi joined the local community at the new store opening and ribbon cutting ceremony.
The expansion of the group’s Express stores is driven by the growing importance of value for money. According to Kit Kat group CEO Riaz Gani, with food and commodity prices on the increase, South Africans are digging deeper into their pockets, and that is more reason for the Kit Kat group to prioritise value for money.
“While our Kit Kat Cash & Carry stores attract both traders and end consumers, the Express stores focus specifically on the end user with convenience and value as key drivers of delivery and customer satisfaction,” says Gani.
“We have always endeavoured to bring the best possible prices to our customers and believe that our shoppers can expect to spend up to 15% less on their monthly bill when shopping at our stores. This has always been core to our Cash & Carry outlets and is now a reality for Tembisa consumers who now have access to the same value.”
For great savings on a number of items including maize, milk, sugar and many more, you can visit the new store in time to stock up for Easter.
The group has big plans, and these include opening six further Cash & Carry stores and another 84 Kit Kat Express stores within the next few years, substantially increasing the group’s footprint to 100 locations in Gauteng. Specific locations will be determined by demographic studies.
