Maerua Mall celebrates all moms this May
Issued by Transform Marketing on behalf of Maerula Mall - May 3rd 2018, 09:50
This May, Maerua Mall celebrates Mother’s Day – the time of year we honour and thank the moms who changed us, clothed us, fed us, put band-aids on our ‘einas’, taught us the difference between right and wrong, and sacrificed their own comfort and happiness to make our lives better.
Maerua Mall will be running a competition on Facebook from 7 to 11 May, asking shoppers to post a picture of their best ‘Moment with Mom at Maerua Mall’, and using #MaeruaMothers. Each day, one lucky mom will win a prize up to the value of N$2,500. Winners will be announced daily on Radio Kosmos.
To celebrate mothers all over Namibia, Maerua Mall will be hosting a Mother’s Day Gift Market from Wednesday 9 May to Saturday 12 May. Everything from confectionaries, clothes, cuddly toys, crafts, jewellery and much more will be for sale throughout the mall for the week, making shopping for Mother’s Day a breeze this year.

Push and pull strategies work together to keep consumers coming back for more
26/11/2019 - 10:20
The retail sector is under increasing pressure as consumers have shrinking disposable income in a strained economy. Maintaining share of wallet is critical. Relying solely on a push route to market strategy from manufacturers into retailers is not enough to get consumers buying products. A pull strategy needs to coexist with the push to drive brand consumption. Integrating these strategies requires intelligent and insightful decision-making. This, in turn, requires data generated through smart technology which provides line of sight across the value chain from manufacturer to distribution, retailer to the consumer.
