Nicolway Bryanston shopping centre reports upturn in retail trade

Nicolway Bryanston shopping centre in Sandton achieved record turnovers in December 2012, proving popular with shoppers for its first festive season after opening in April last year.
Jandemie Olwage, Centre Manager of Nicolway Bryanston reports the centre’s shoppers’ baskets were the biggest yet during the holiday season.
Shopper numbers at Nicolway Bryanston peaked on Saturday, 1 December 2012. Friday’s were the busiest day of every week at the centre, in the December build-up to Christmas.
While the centre’s retailers reported strong trade across the board, it was Nicolway Bryanston’s restaurants that notched up sky-high popularity.
“Our restaurants were fully booked almost every night during December,” reports Olwage. With service under the stars on beautiful South African summer nights, it is little wonder that Nicolway Bryanston was Sandton’s festive dining hot spot.
Olwage adds the centre’s exceptional food offering proved a huge consumer attraction, with its selection of restaurants and trio of top anchor tenants: Woolworths, Checkers and Food Lover’s Market.
“Besides this attractive variety, the convenience of the centre and higher levels of customer service make Nicolway Bryanston enormously competitive and extremely popular with shoppers,” says Olwage.
Reporting exceptional trading densities, Nicolway Bryanston retailers achieving the highest spend per square meter include Cabouchon, Frankie & Delilah, Red Square, Lovisa, Bryanston Jewellers, BT Games, Woolworths, Nap, Exclusive Books and Incredible Connection.
Nicolway Bryanston offers conveniently stylish everyday shopping in a premium grade retail centre featuring 90 distinctive retailers and restaurateurs. This superbly positioned niche community shopping centre provides excellent vehicle access from the main arterial of William Nicol Drive.
