The changing face of the student market


As technology evolves and social media changes the media landscape - marketing to the student market has become more complex than ever before. Daryl Bartkunsky, MD of Student Brands, points out that today’s student is smarter and savvier than their latter day counterparts, a fact that marketers must consider in order to communicate effectively with them.

“Students’ purchasing behaviour has become largely convenience driven and further dependent on where the focus of the individual lies,” he says.
