STRATEGY

The expansion of the Pick n Pay Express network, in partnership with BP has been cautious and further rollout is dependent on the distribution infrastructures and its ability to handle smaller format delivery.
In April 2010 it was stated that that the format had exceed expectations, the group has foreseen an accelerated rollout in the pipeline. Only 3 new stores were added and there seems to be a distinct shift in focus away from the smaller convenience format.
