100-year-old KWV shines at Veritas
Issued on behalf of KWV by Feed That Bird Communication Consultants - Oct 9th, 10:32
The announcement was made at a prestigious gala dinner at the CTICC, attended by representatives from across the South African Winelands.
The Veritas Awards is the longest-running wine and brandy competition in SA and is affectionally referred to as ‘South Africa’s Wine Oscars’. Close to 2,000 entries are received each year and judged by South Africa’s top wine judges and critics, with international wine judges included on some panels. Veritas is largely driven by consumer preferences, with judges valuing drinkability, wine structure and maturing ability when scrutinising wines – with the selection process for Double Gold winners being especially rigorous.
KWV’s most recent performance comes at a time when the company is reaching the end of a year-long centennial celebration and is a fitting illustration of the company’s unwavering commitment to consumers, continuing the KWV legacy of quality and consistency.
