At aQuellé, joy has a new look

Water, as a natural element, is not fixed, but naturally flows and changes, while retaining its essential properties. For the past 20 years, aQuellé has been spreading joy and now, just like water refreshes and revitalises, the logo and packaging has been given a refreshing new look while retaining its essence of Real Joy.
Suzelle Stegen, Marketing Manager at aQuellé explains, “Our new logo and packaging have elements of contemporary design and vibrant colours. We have also introduced a solid colour cap, which has a bold, clean appearance to complement the new look. Our new labels are making a splash in stores across South Africa. Consumers can enjoy the taste they have learned to love, now with a refreshed new look!”
aQuellé has a wide product offering in customized bottles - our Still Natural Spring Water is available in 500 ml, 750 ml, 1.5 L and 5 L bottles and Sparkling Natural Spring Water in 500 ml and 1.5 L. The range includes a convenient offering for all, with the soon-to-be-launched 330 ml, the flip-top 750 ml for the active consumer, and a comfortable handle for the economic 5 L bottle.
We initially launched with 4 South African inspired flavours and the range has grown to offer 10 authentic Flavoured Sparkling Drinks, including the recent addition of 3 flavours from our Limited Edition competition – Watermelon, Granadilla and Apple – a flavour to suit every taste and lifestyle.
aQuellé has been spreading joy for 20 years. Since 1998, when a natural water source buried in the hills of KwaZulu-Natal, was tested and found to be too good not to share, aQuellé – a hybrid of the Latin word ‘aqua’, meaning water and the German word ‘Quelle’ meaning spring – has aimed to make a real change in people’s lives and has become a brand loved by all South Africans.
As a member of SANBWA, aQuellé adheres to stringent safety and quality measures. All aQuellé bottles are made from PET, which is 100% recyclable, and in conjunction with Petco, we encourage and promote recycling of our bottles and are constantly looking for ways to reduce our carbon footprint. We are continually implementing new techniques at our plant that are environmentally friendly to ensure that we keep providing an affordable, high-quality product to South Africans.
“The new look launches us into an exciting new era, making every joyful moment brighter while enjoying the original refreshing taste of joy. We look forward to spreading even more joy in the next 20 years!” says Stegen.
