Belvedere Vodka wins big at international awards

Belvedere Vodka, the world’s original luxury vodka, was presented with a gold medal in sustainability at the International Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Excellence awards and for the third year running, awarded ‘Vodka Producer of the Year’ for the third consecutive year at the International Spirits Challenge.
Held in London, the CSR Excellence award honours the brand’s commitment to standards of excellence, reputable business practice and sustainable leadership in the vodka category. Commitment to sustainability is core to Belvedere, driven by a dedication to conserving energy during the vodka distillation process and shifting fuel sourcing from oil to natural gas. Overall, the brand has been able to reduce CO2 emissions by 42% since 2012.

Two prominent partnerships further drive the ethos of Belvedere Vodka’s corporate social responsibility – the Raw Spirit Program, launched in partnership with agricultural distilleries to promote and protect rye sustainability in Poland, and (BELVEDERE)RED, a limited-edition bottle program that donates 50% of profits to the Global Fund to fight AIDS/HIV in Africa. To this day, the program has provided enough funding to support nearly 40,000 HIV positive women with access to life-saving treatment that stops the transmission of HIV to their babies.
In addition to this accolade, Belvedere has also been awarded ‘Vodka Producer of the Year’ for the third consecutive year at the International Spirits Challenge 2017 (ISC). Now in its 22nd year, the ISC is the premier organisation promoting outstanding quality spirits from across the globe. The Spirits Challenge competition is founded on a rigorous and independent judging process, with more than 1,300 entries from nearly 70 countries worldwide. It is supported by many of the world's leading spirits producers who regard it as the international standard for quality and excellence.

Belvedere sources its all-natural Dankowskie rye locally in Poland, working with only seven agricultural partners who have a long-standing relationship with the Polmos Zyrardów distillery, to consistently deliver raw ingredients of exceptional character.
