Chai and Orange Rice Pudding

A warm Winter pud.
380g of Nestle Ideal Evaporated Milk
180g of Huletts White Sugar
2 sticks of Spice Mecca Stick Cinnamon
1 star anise
2 cardamom pods, bruised
1 PnP peel of orange
1 pinch of PnP Ground Nutmeg
375g PnP cooked rice
1 dash of PnP UHT Full Cream Milk, if needed
Place evaporated milk, sugar, cinnamon sticks, 1 star anise, bruised cardamom pods, peel of orange and a pinch of nutmeg over medium heat.
Stir until sugar has dissolved.
Simmer for 8-10 minutes.
Add cooked rice and simmer for 10-15 minutes, stirring.
Add a splash of milk if needed.
