Reaffirming its position as South Africa’s leading Health and Beauty retailer, Clicks achieved first place in the Health, Beauty and Fragrance Outlets category in the Times/Sowetan Shopper Survey 2016 (formerly known as the Retail Awards). Clicks has also scooped first place as Pharmaceutical Outlets winner and third place overall.
The annual Times/Sowetan Shopper Survey, now in its ninth year, is based on a standalone survey conducted by TNS that is directly designed to benefit retailers with annually updated insights into consumer sentiment.
Vikesh Ramsunder, Clicks COO, thanked shoppers for their continued support of the business and attributed the brand’s success to several aspects, one of which is the company’s long-standing loyalty programme, Clicks ClubCard, which he said supports their growth strategy and remains the overarching value proposition to customers.
“Beyond the great prices, our customers stay because of the very real and valuable rewards they get for shopping with us. On top of that, we are continuously focused on elevating our service levels and as South Africa’s largest corporate pharmacy chain, we are very convenient and accessible to our customers. We recognise our role in the South African market and our single purpose is to help our customers feel good and pay less”.
