There is nothing better than a piping hot, hearty bowl of soup with some crusty toasted bread on a cold winter day. But chances are that you are often racing against the clock when it comes to making it yourself. Wouldn’t it be great if you could prepare a gourmet soup in three easy steps using only the freshest ingredients?
DENNY, SA’s number one producer and supplier of fresh mushrooms, has relaunched its wholesome range of soups in a can with a fresh new label design; in both condensed and ready to serve formats. All of the hard work is already done, so all you have to do is open, heat and enjoy. Not only are they convenient to prepare, they are also perfect for keeping in the cupboards for when needed.
Packed with hearty goodness, free of preservatives and added MSG, these delicious soups are available in 13 variants and only use the freshest ingredients.
“We are excited for consumers to try our delicious soups. All soups are packed with the wholesome goodness that consumers have come to expect from DENNY. Their easy to open lids means they are convenient, and the fact that they come in a can means that all the goodness is sealed to last until serving time,” says Vanessa Sew Chung Hong, DENNY Marketing Manager.
The DENNY range offers both mushroom-based soups, as well as classic favourites such as Cream of Tomato and Chicken Noodle. Consumers can also choose from more exciting gourmet options like Lentils & Beef and Spicy Bean & Beef. The condensed soup range offers three flavours (Tomato, Mushroom and Chicken & Mushrooms) that are perfect to use as recipe bases to add richness and depth of flavour to hearty winter meals such as potjies, stews and casseroles.
Both Condensed and Ready to Serve ranges are available at all major retailers and wholesalers.

Experiential marketing is what brands do to get their stakeholders to engage with them; to "participate" in meaningful brand experiences. As a discipline it’s been defined in many ways – one being a forum where a brand can "extend a hand" to touch and engage the consumer.
