Distilleria Bottega's love for the environment

BRAND ACTIVITY

Bibano, Treviso - Italy. The respect for the environment has always been one of the most important Distilleria Bottega’s commitments. The company has implemented numerous “green” practices to reduce the winery’s carbon footprint and to maintain the integrity of the land upon which it so deeply relies. It uses biomass, organic farming, geothermal heating and natural ingredients for packaging.

The glass bottles created by the artistic temperament of Sandro Bottega are certainly recyclable but they are even more than a mere container, once drunk the wine, grappa or liqueur inside, they could be used as a vase.

In occasions like Valentine’s Day or Mothers’ Day we use to express our love giving a flower. Using a Distilleria Bottega’s bottle as a vase for our flowers could be an idea to recycle an everyday object made special by its shape, its colour and by the culture that it brings with, like the glass blowing traditional art developed through the centuries by generations of Venetian Masters.

About Distilleria Bottega. Distilleria Bottega produces grappa, wines and high quality liqueurs, which are placed on the market with the brands Bottega and Alexander. The Company, with headquarters in Bibano di Godega (TV), 50 km north of Venice, has increasingly expanded throughout the years thanks to the introduction on the market of sophisticated blown glass bottles as well as the fine monovariety selections and the distillates aged in barriques. The range of wines includes Prosecco, Chianti, Moscato, Ripasso, Recioto, Amarone, Brunello di Montalcino. Distilleria Bottega distributes its products in about 110 countries all over the world.

About Alexander Design. Alexander design, created by Sandro Bottega, originated by a privileged connection with Venice, which is at the same time city of, water, style and art, as well as muse of the cult of beauty. The magic of blown glass has been important to exalt the clearness of Grappa. The purity of blown glass places itself at the base of the constant care towards packaging. Alexander blown glass bottles have become object of an itinerant exhibition, called “Art in grappa”. This event, which has been promoted by the Italian Institute of Culture, took place in New York, Montreal, Cologne, Barcelona and Madrid. Click here for more information on Bottega
