SuperSport Park the well known cricket ground in Centurion and home of the Nashua Titans recently celebrated their 25th birthday. Renowned wine and brandy producer KWV partnered with SuperSport Park’s Presidential Suite as the official wine sponsor for the 2011/2012 cricket season with the KWV Classic Collection.
Not only a cricket ground, this venue also offers conference and banqueting facilities, wedding receptions, product launches and wine tastings. The birthday celebration took place in the stylish President Suite with members of Cricket South Africa and retired cricket players in attendance. “Guests were treated to a selection of wines and stood a chance of winning one of two KWV brandy hampers each with a bottle of KWV 10 and 15 Year old - put together 25 Years old,” says Chanel Kruger, Category Manager of KWV Wines South Africa.
For the duration of the season guests in the Presidential Suite will be treated to an assortment of KWV wines. Earlier this year KWV refreshed its Lifestyle range with the introduction of the KWV Classic Collection. Consisting of eight varietals namely - Chardonnay, Chenin Blanc, Sauvignon Blanc, Pinotage Rosé, Pinotage, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Shiraz - the range offers a choice for every palate. The premium packaging reflects a classical winemaking ethos, quality and sophistication.
“We are proud to be associated with this iconic venue with its strong heritage in South Africa and look forward to building on the existing relationship”, adds Kruger.
