Lucky Star introduces Pickled and Curried Pilchard Cutlets

Lucky Star, South Africa’s favourite canned fish brand, has introduced two exciting new variants to its Pilchards range, offering consumers added convenience with the same great health benefits that are enjoyed in the rest of the Lucky Star range.
Available in Lucky Star Pilchard Cutlets, Pickled and Lucky Star Pilchard Cutlets, Curried, the new varieties contain more bio available calcium than a glass of milk and have a higher per gram level of protein than fillet steak. They are also endorsed by the Heart and Stroke Foundation of South Africa as well as Diabetes SA.
High in Omega-3 fatty acids, the Pilchards are steamed in the can to retain their nutrients and natural goodness. Each variety features an easy-open ring-pull lid, making it quicker for consumers to enjoy these new healthy and tasty protein offerings.
