Tetley Bags Big Changes
NEW PRODUCTS

For Tetley Big Tea, it’s all about the bag – at 2,75g, Tetley tea bags contain 10 percent more tea than those of other South African tea brands.
A change to the package design and a new pay off line – MORE TEA, MORE TASTE – highlights this. The tea leaves on the saucer of the cup on the box have been replaced by a tea bag not only bringing the overall look more in line with the modern day tea making experience (few consumers still brew leaves in a pot) but making the bigger bag central to enjoying a cuppa with ‘more taste’.
Tetley’s bigger bag not only provides added value at a time when many consumer brands are actually making products smaller but is also a perfect fit with a local preference for a stronger, fuller cup of tea. So, although Tetley Big Tea was established in England in 1873 and is the leading tea brand in the UK, it is fast becoming a local favourite as borne out by the fact that sales have grown by 50 percent over the past year.
Tetley Big Tea bags are available in packs of 102 and 26 at retailers countrywide.
