Process Manager Distillation & Fermentation

Reporting to the Distillery Manager, you will be responsible for achieving the production objectives for fermentation, distillation and effluent treatment by managing assets, people, production efficiencies and throughput according to budget, forecasts and effective planning.
You will be a member of the tasting panel and drive excellence in relevant teams. You have good reporting skills, and you are able to manage stock controlling using SAP. You will also procure raw materials and maintain relationships with suppliers. Furthermore, you will ensure relevant safety and ICC standards and systems are improved continuously (ISO 9001 & 14001) and adhered to.
The ideal candidate has a Degree in Natural Sciences, strong leadership qualities developed from a minimum of 5 years supervisory experience in a production environment. You need a working knowledge of fermentation and distillation processes. Health & Safety knowledge is essential as well as excellent computer literacy skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SAP, SCADA).
