Regional Sales Manager – Western & Eastern Cape

ACDOCO SA is an FMCG supplier company, looking for a Regional Sales Manager to work in the Sales Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for key account management of the full Acdoco SA product range in the Eastern and Western Cape regions and will report directly to the Regional Sales Manager. R220k annual CTC negotiable on solid experience and proven track record.

The Role

Reporting directly to the Coastal Region Sales Manager you will:

• Manage agents, reps and clients in your area
• Submit regular reviews of agents, reps and clients
• Manage, implement and organise product and price promotions
• Implement and manage promotional grids for your region
• Manage budgets and targets for your region
• Co-ordinate, manage and administer listings
• Manage new listings, packaging revamps and discontinued lines
• Develop an effective short, medium and long-term strategy for your region, aligned to the overall strategy of the Company
• Develop new business relationships, establish new leads, generate business and source opportunities to support your annual target
• Co-ordinate and integrate efforts of your region with the other divisions inside the Company to contribute towards the overall achievement of budget/profitability

The Person

You have:

• 5 to 10 years experience in sales in the Retail FMCG environment having had direct experience of selling to these sectors and profitably reaching set targets (e.g. Pick n Pay, Clicks, etc)
• A proven track record
• Excellent IT skills and are proficient in Excel, Power Point and Word
• A positive and results orientated attitude, having achieved success through working as part of a team
• An enthusiastic disposition with high levels of energy and ambition, a proactive style and a strong character
• Exceptional interpersonal, written and spoken communication skills
