Lauren Shantall (PTY) Ltd Integrated Communications - Jun 20th 2016, 16:37

Local designers and manufacturers of premium-quality office furniture, Ergoform, won the award for Top Innovation and Best Stand overall at the Inspire Trade Show which took place at Gallagher Convention Centre in Johannesburg last week.

Besides their stand, which showcased their latest product ranges – including their newly launched eco-desk, Organika – Ergoform designed and furnished two communal areas at the Expo, the MeetIN and LeadIN spaces. These areas included fun-yet-functional office elements and demonstrated the growing trend in collaborative workspaces.

“We pride ourselves in creating office environments which complement the way that modern professionals work, we are constantly innovating and creating pieces which aid work and adapt to the way that people work; an example of this is our collaborative workspace offering,” says Leon Roodt, Owner and Creative Director of Ergoform. “In this context, it is a huge accolade to be honoured by the Inspire Trade Show, which offers so much to the industry on the continent.”

The Inspire Trade Expo is Africa’s largest furniture, décor and design B2B trade show, offering a platform for manufacturers, designers and agents to exhibit their products and services, and to network with professionals in the industry.

Ergoform has been designing and manufacturing office furniture for over 22 years. The company has showrooms in Cape Town, Johannesburg and Durban, as well as a factory in Cape Town. Besides the accolades at Inspire Trade Expo, Ergoform has won a number of awards including the Technology Top 100 Award in 2011 in the Business Systems category and Productivity SA’s National Productivity Award in 2014.
