Builders expands its footprint with three new stores

In July, Builders, through its commitment to offer customers a world-class home improvement and trade experience has recently welcomed three new stores to its growing footprint. Two in South Africa and one in Zambia brings the total number of stores to 112. These communities have been uplifted through employment opportunities to the tune of 152 jobs created as part of the three additional stores.
Builders Express in Thoyandou, Limpopo; Builders SuperStore in Mdantsane, Eastern Cape and Builders Warehouse in Makeni, Zambia opened their doors during June and July 2018 bringing high-quality DIY, home improvement and construction materials to the local residents.
Every Builders store comes with a quality guarantee as our customers are assured of the same promise to help people build better lives, no matter which stores they are in.
These new stores represent the delivery of the Builders expansion strategy which will continue throughout the year. Builders had reached the halfway mark and there are still more stores which will open up.
These new Builders stores will stock a range of products and building materials specific to their location and customer base, including services such as paint mixing; board, glass and key cutting; and financial services. Builders has also added a value-added services offering across all their South Africa stores. Offering customers the added convenience of buying airtime and electricity, paying municipal and other accounts, playing lotto, getting the perfect gift for friends and family as well as instant money transfers.
All South African Builders stores also offer our customers the convenience to shop online with the 24-hour online shopping portal offering over 20 000 products to choose from with the option to collect in-store or have the purchase delivered.
