One of Engen Petroleum Limited’s most popular urban 1-Plus service stations, Engen Oranjezicht in Cape Town, is again open to the public following a four-month makeover.
The site is one of 582 that form part of the company’s Reinvigorate programme rollout, which began in 2007 and is set to run its course in 2018.
Engen, the SA petroleum industry market leader, developed Reinvigorate with a view to consolidating its brand identity across all its service stations and convenience outlets, and showcasing its upmarket offerings.
The aim of reinvigorating its network is to send a consistent brand message to customers, thus creating a strong brand identity and in-depth character, company officials say. Consistency allows customers to feel a firm connection with brands and to have a more memorable customer experience.
Along with its rejuvenated image, Engen Oranjezicht has more convenience than ever to offer customers, including an extended Woolworths Food store, Steers, Corner Bakery, Debonairs, ATMs and public toilets – all available 24hrs.
Dumisani Bengu, Retail Business Manager for Engen Sales and Marketing said: “Engen Oranjezicht is one of our flagship sites and a very popular one in our network. The upgrade is meant to deliver on our brand promise and showcase reinvigorated offerings to our customers, in terms of an innovative and diverse range of products and services to ensure great customer experience.â€
