About EWC Express
EWC Consultants began trading in March 1989. Upon becoming a (Pty) Ltd in August 1998, the company’s name changed to EWC Express. In 2002, EWC opened an office in Cape Town. The year thereafter, EWC Natal’s assets and liabilities were transferred to EWC Express SA. In 2008, EWC Port Elizabeth and George were launched and in October 2010, Trans Mart joined the company leading to EWC Express becoming part of IMPERIAL Logistics.

EWC Express is a leader in the small parcel express market and services over 3 000 centres throughout the country, daily. Services range from domestic and international document courier to air freight, forwarding, customs clearing and retail distribution.

The film, music and electronic industries were initially EWC’s primary focus, due to the high value and time sensitive nature of these commodities. This market segment still forms an integral part of the business however EWC has extended its services and offers a total logistics solution for retail brands. Fabrics, outdoor leisure equipment, pharmaceuticals, clothing and shoes are some of the commodities distributed by the company.
