ROYCO®, one of South Africa’s most trusted food brands, has launched South Africa’s first low fat sauce range carrying the Heart Mark stamp of approval.

Endorsed by the Heart and Stroke Foundation of South Africa as part of a healthy eating plan, the four delicious ROYCO® Heart Mark sauces: Low Fat Cheese, Low Fat Mushroom, Low Fat Cheese & Mushroom and Low Fat Pepper, give consumers more heartfriendly options without sacrificing on convenience, variety and above all – taste. With these new sauces they can add irresistible flavour to chicken, beef, fish, vegetable and pastas dishes with mouth-watering results every time without loading on unwanted fats or salt, ensuring that consumers give their families only the best.

These Low Fat, Heart Mark sauces are a new addition to the new look ROYCO® Sauces & Gravies range which now offers greater choice with 12 tasty sauces and six hearty gravies, all with reduced salt and no added MSG or artificial colourants.

Easy to prepare by simply adding boiling water, there is a ROYCO® Sauce or Gravy to give richness, texture and above all, great taste that will enhance any meal. Consumers can pour these sauces over their favourite meals to add that extra bit of flavour or use them as an ingredient across a variety of meals, such as a rich stew or savoury pasta bake.
