With Standard Bank you no longer need to stand in long queues to do your banking. This is the message brought to Standard Bank’s account holders via its engaging Z-CARD® guide to banking anywhere, any time.

Booked and designed by Standard Bank and produced by PocketMedia® Solutions, the credit card-sized Z-CARD® provides the bank’s account holders with a compact guide to banking – anywhere – via its new AutoBank, a state-of-the-art application that enables cash deposits, with or without a card, into any Standard Bank transaction and credit card account at any time.

“It’s simple and convenient because the AutoBank checks the notes allowing immediate clearing of the money. That means that as soon as our account holders finish depositing their money, they can withdraw it from any ATM,” says Standard Bank’s Nadia Gossman.

“The Z-CARD®s, which are being distributed to 10 of Standard Bank’s Western Cape branches, are being used as part of a pilot project to test the feasibility of moving customers to self-service channels for specific transactions that can be done on their own instead of waiting in a queue at a branch,” she adds.

The card not only provides instructions on how to perform a cash deposit, without an envelope, at an ATM into someone else’s or the account holders own account, but also explains how to view a statement via Internet banking or AutoBank, AutoCash or AutoPlus and Cellphone banking.

“We have also provided detailed information about our Banking App, Cellphone and Internet banking, AutoPlus and AccessPoints to ensure that our customers have all of the information that they need to do their own banking anywhere at any time,” says Gossman.
