Introducing a new way to enjoy Krone every day

The House of Krone, located at Twee Jonge Gezellen Estate (TJ) in the picturesque town of Tulbagh, has become synonymous with the production of benchmark Méthode Cap Classiques. Here, generations of the Krone family have mastered the fine art of blending the traditional Champagne varieties, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. Having perfected this skilful blending, The House of Krone is proud to announce that their loyal followers can now enjoy all that defines Krone Méthode Cap Classique in a still version of this classic combination.

“Grand occasions have traditionally been celebrated with a glass of sparkling wine from The House of Krone. But what about everyday moments? If they’re special or memorable, we believe they deserve a similar privilege, so we are now offering a ‘Krone for every moment’”, commented an enthusiastic Luke Krone.

Krone Chardonnay Pinot Noir 2012

As in Cap Classique production, the Chardonnay contributes crisp acidity and elegance, whilst the Pinot Noir brings intensity and richness coupled with delicate red berry fruit flavours. Combined in perfect proportions, these two noble grapes create a wine, which is full of appealing flavour, yet, remains balanced and refreshing. And to top it all, the wine has an alluring blush of colour making it attractive to the eye as well as the palate.

The Krone Chardonnay Pinot Noir 2012 should be enjoyed with friends and family and is a perfect partner for Mezze and Mediterranean dishes, seared tuna, smoked salmon, seafood, Thai curries, ham or veal. Or simply enjoy it on its own.

The Krone Chardonnay Pinot Noir 2012 is widely available nationally at leading retailers for approximately R59.99 per bottle.

To celebrate the release of the Krone Chardonnay Pinot Noir, The House of Krone is offering their fans an opportunity, during April and May, to become one of 5 lucky winners of a case of Krone Chardonnay Pinot Noir and a pair of Riedel Vinum Montrachet/Chardonnay glasses: crafted from lead crystal, valued at R500 a pair, and loved by those who appreciate the finer things in life. Shoppers can SMS their name and the last 4 digits of the barcode – taken off any bottle of Krone they purchased - to 45622 to stand a chance of being a winner.
