Bottled at an alcohol strength of 43%, KWV 3 Year Old has a dark golden colour with fresh apple and pear flavours with tones of spicy vanilla. This brandy is medium bodied with a fruity aftertaste. This superior brandy is a double distilled potstill brandy matured in oak barrels for five years and has a lively gold colour and a mellow, fruity aftertaste. The enticing vanilla and dried fruit aromas of KWV 5 Year Old build up to a potpourri of ripe apple, pear and raisin on a medium-bodied palate. KWV 5 Year Old brandy has undergone a transformation to reinforce its stature within the premium market segment. We have upgraded from a Screw Cap closure to a Cork Flange Closure. The Cork Flange Closure, imported from Portugal, is the traditional way of packaging brandy and is set to enhance the pouring ritual of the KWV 5 Year variant while adding to the overall drinking experience.
