Stimorol turns Jammie Stairs into a Jamming Slide at UCT, Cape Town

Stimorol’s #SeeWhatUnfolds campaign is determined to liberate fun by drop kicking boredom out the window. With exams around the corner Stimorol turned a gloomy Monday morning at UCT into something phenomenal. The famous Jammie Stairs were magically transformed into a giant slide, yip you read right, a giant slide, for campus students to take ‘the fun way down’. Heck even lecturers got involved.

On Monday the 7th of October to Wednesday the 9th of October the ‘Stimorol Slide’ liberated the campus, uplifting somber moods and letting fun run free. Students were offered Stimorol chewing gum to assist with a mind shift from mundane moods to being open to fun. They were then offered the chance to take ‘the fun way down’, grabbing a high 5 and helium balloon from ‘High 5 man.’ As you do.

Check out the SLIDE action -

The ‘Stimorol Slide,’ created in association with Cape Town based Experiential agency Stretch, is a sampling-driven campaign aimed to bring the See What Unfolds campaign to life in the typical Stimorol way – with a dose of wacky fun. Also part of the sampling campaign was a mobile ‘Stimorol Hopscotch’ team which moved around the country giving consumers on the way to work or varsity a little extra Hopscotch fun to make their Monday a Fun Day.

What is See What Unfolds all about?

Stimorol SA loves nothing more than going big, and this year the gum with the fun has been celebrating its new outlook on life, “See What Unfolds”. Stimorol has been on a mission to ‘liberate the fun’. No more boring Mondays. No more mundane queues. Not if Stimorol has a say in your day. The world needs a little more excitement and Stimorol is here to help.
As SA’s most popular gum is now in the business of sparking positivity and changing dull mindsets by letting fun lead the way. This is because Stimorol is more than just a gum. Think about it; it helps reinvigorate the day and jumpstart the brain, helps you free your body and mind. Yip, all that in just a chew. So, what does this all mean? Well, Stimorol has decided to stand on its head, to see the world upside down.

Stimorol launched this new attitude in2013 across a fully-integrated campaign. You might have seen the fun roll-out on television, heard it across the airwaves on radio or possibly even interacted with it on Facebook, Twitter, , Mxit, and across the country with consumer activations, in-store promotions and PR elements. As a new communication platform there is no campaign expiry date, but this strategy sets the scene for all communication going forward for South Africa’s favourite gum.

Have fun now.
